Crossover are Alex Cumming (Accordion/Piano), Len Bittenson (Viola/Fiddle/Recorder) and Carol Bittenson (Fiddle). They have been performing as a duo now for over 6 years, playing for Contra and English Country Dances across New England and beyond. With Carol and Len's driving New England fiddle style and glorious harmonizations and Alex's robust and rhythmic backing, you are in for an exciting and very danceable few hours of music.
Appearances include Concord Scout House, Guiding Star Grange, Dancing Fish Dance Weekend in Florida, Peterborough NH Contra, BIDA Contra, CDS Boston Center English Country Dance, New England Folk Festival and many more. Outside of Crossover you can find Alex performing with Bellwether, Red Case Band and Audrey Jaber, as well as solo work. Carol can be found performing with Free Association and the mighty Not Enough Fiddles. Len can be found performing with The Harlot Queens and Not Enough Fiddles.
